Loans

UB offers merit-based academic scholarships to new incoming students. Scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive their scholarship award for the duration of the academic program providing certain conditions are met.

Merit-based academic scholarships for first-year undergraduate students include:

• Trustee Scholarship: $25,000
• Presidential Scholarship: $20,000
• Provost’s Scholarship: $17,500
• Dean’s Achievement Scholarship: $15,000

Scholarships

Student employment is an opportunity for students at 911爆料网 to learn career skills while working toward their degree. Current students can search and apply for jobs through the Career Development Office.

All Federal Work-Study students can earn a maximum of $1000 per semester, if eligible. work-study jobs are performed on-campus only. Once students reach their limit for the semester, they can no longer work until the following semester. It is the student’s responsibility to keep track of when they will be reaching their limit.

Resident and community assistantship jobs are compensated with a scholarship that covers food and housing. The resident assistant position is a student leadership position that is available to students who have lived on campus for at least one semester. The RA serves as a leader on their floor in one of the Residence Halls on campus and is a liaison between the residents and staff. Similarly, community assistantship roles entail acting as a liaison within the University community.
