Signal Processing Research Group (SPRG) Laboratory

Signal Processing Research Group (SPRG) Laboratory works in speech processing, biomedical signal, and image processing. Machine learning (ML) algorithms and their applications in real-world problems are extensively studied. Recently, the group has emphasized research in computer-aided breast cancer diagnosis systems using mammography and histopathology images.

  • Alzheimer's disease (AD)
  • Age and gender recognition from wild face images

Biomedical Signal Processing Applications

  • Analysis of Electroencephalogram (EEG) measurements during short-term memory retention
  • Emotion recognition
